The FAB worked closely with the Club to review fan engagement last year and set objectives for the coming season.
The plan confirms four FAB meetings a year, beginning in September and continuing in January, March and June, with our working groups on club affairs, engagement, EDI and community meeting monthly. The Club will run at least two supporter surveys during the season, and will review the results of the Premier League's own matchday experience survey alongside them. It also commits to widening its forums, including all-female focus groups, sessions for younger supporters, and a strengthened Fan Groups Forum. Monthly operational meetings with the Fulham Supporters' Trust and the Disabled Supporters Association continue.
Several things in the plan came out of work done over the past season. The Club changed the ticket exchange for evening matches after we pressed for it. The Ticketing Principles agreed with the Club are now shaping real decisions. The new Fan Group Forum gives other supporter groups a voice alongside ours, and a new FAB member joined at the start of the season to represent younger fans. We worked with the Fulham Supporters' Trust to push for improvements to the Hammersmith End toilet facilities, and the creation of the FUL of Pride LGBTQ+ supporter group was long overdue.
We were candid in the plan about where things still fall short. The communications chain between supporters, fan groups, the FAB and the Club needs work, as the announcement of season ticket price changes last season showed. This season we want our conversations with the Club to be more strategic and less operational, and to close the loop on ideas already on the table so good proposals do not stall. We have also committed to giving a clearer public account of what the FAB does each year, and this site is part of delivering that.
