The Fulham FC Fan Advisory Board is the data controller for the information you send us through this website. We are a group of Fulham supporters, recognised by Fulham Football Club but independent of it. We are responsible for deciding how the information you give us is used and for keeping it safe.
If you have any question about your information, or you want to exercise any of the rights set out below, write to us at info@fulhamfcfab.com.
We collect information in one place only: the contact form on this site. When you complete it we ask for your name, your email address, how you would describe your relationship with the Club, which stand your season ticket is valid for if you have one and choose to tell us, and your comment or query in your own words.
We do not ask for anything else. Please do not send us payment details, ticket references, or health or other sensitive information. If your query is about a matter of that kind, contact the Club directly rather than us.
We also collect anonymous statistics about how the site is used, as explained under Cookies and site statistics below.
We use what you send us to read and understand the issue you are raising, to reply to you or point you to the right place if it is something the Club needs to handle, and to group what supporters tell us by theme so that we can take the recurring issues into our meetings with the Club.
When we take an issue to the Club, we do so in summary form. We do not pass on your name, your email address or any other detail that would identify you, unless you have asked us to and agreed it with us first.
We rely on legitimate interests. Our interest is in representing supporters' views to the Club, which is the purpose the Board exists for, and handling correspondence sent to us is a necessary part of that. We have considered whether this affects your rights and are satisfied that it does not, because you choose whether to write to us, we ask for no more than we need, and we do not pass identifying information to the Club.
Where we want to quote you, or attribute something to you by name, we will ask you first and rely on your consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time.
For the site statistics described below, our legitimate interest is understanding which information supporters find useful, so that we can improve the site.
Form responses go to a spreadsheet held in the FAB's Google Workspace. Access is limited to the FAB members who handle correspondence.
We should be straightforward about one thing. The Club provides the Google Workspace that the FAB runs on, so the Club's administrators hold the technical keys to it. The Club has undertaken not to access the FAB's correspondence, and Club staff are not sent form responses and do not read them. We would rather tell you how this actually works than claim a separation that the technology does not provide.
We use Google Workspace to run this site, the form and the spreadsheet. Google processes the information on our instructions and does not use it for its own purposes. Google stores and processes data on servers in several countries, including outside the UK, under the safeguards set out in its own terms.
We do not sell your information, we do not use it for marketing, and we do not share it with anyone else.
We keep form responses for two years from the date you send them, after which we delete them. We review the spreadsheet at the end of each season and remove anything older.
We may keep the anonymised theme, with your name and contact details removed, for longer, so that we can show over time what supporters have raised with us.
This site is built with Google Sites, which sets a small number of cookies that are needed for the site to work and to keep it secure.
We also use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: which pages people read, roughly how many visit, what kind of device they use and how they found us. It does this with cookies that give your browser a random identifier. We cannot see who you are, Google Analytics does not store your full IP address, and we use the figures only to count visits and improve the site. We have switched off the features that would share this data with Google for advertising or link it to a Google account. Google processes it on our behalf, and it is deleted automatically after 14 months.
UK law allows cookies used only for statistics like these without asking you first, provided we explain them and let you opt out. You can opt out by installing Google’s free opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or by blocking cookies from this site in your browser settings. The site works the same either way.
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask what information we hold about you and get a copy of it, to ask us to correct anything that is wrong, to ask us to delete it, to ask us to stop or restrict how we use it, to object to our use of it, to ask us to transfer it to you or someone else in a usable format, and to withdraw consent where we have relied on it.
Write to info@fulhamfcfab.com and we will respond within one month.
If you are not happy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or by calling 0303 123 1113. We would rather you came to us first so we can try to put it right.
If you are under 13, please ask a parent or guardian before sending us your details.
If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and change the date at the top
